Imagination!!

In FACS we have been learning about Child Development. Today was Imagination Day. I had students draw an imaginary creature then they partnered up. They had to verbally describe their creature to their partner to draw... it was interesting to see the results.

Elderly in Teen Living

Yesterday in Teen Living we finished up the family unit by discussing the role of the elderly in our lives and in our families. They had to wear tape on their fingers to simulate arthritis and funny glasses on their face to simulate the changes to eyesight as we age. Made for some funny looking students. :)

The FACS students have been working on their shoe box room designs. Here are a couple shots of the students hard at work...

It is funny how students spread out in clumps. I am really excited to see the results. I have seen some clever ideas already. I will post pics of some of the cool ones.
