Spinach Dip

Today in Foods we made spinach dip as a mini lab so students could snack while we took notes. I thought it was yummy. We had a TON left over though, so nect time we will cut the recipe in half.

Communication

In Teen Living yesterday we talked about communication and how we can still communicate even if we don't talk. The students did an activity where they had to work together to stack some cups, but the couldn't touch the cups with their hands and they couldn't verbally communicate.

Chocolate Chewies

Today in Foods we had our first, full lab. It was an esay one... chocolate chewies!! Which means, no-bake cookies. This lab was mostly to practice appropriate measuring techniques. Students did a great job- the counters and sinks were clean and the product tasted yummy! Students had most of the hour to practice working math equivalents, because cooking, after all, is a very scientific process!

Foods First Lab

Today we had our first lab in Foods. We made Fresh Salsa! This was just a short mini lab, so they ate the chips and salsa during notes. Both classes did a great job! Very impressive guys!

This group won Kood-aide for themselves by winning a vocabulary game! Yea for you guys! All the other groups had to drink plain, old, boring water. :-)

Fashion Games

My Fashion class is awesome!!! These girls are so on top of things. They had an assignment to take a fashion captial and make a game with the information that teaches about the capital. And the games that they made were incredible! Great job ladies!
