Baby!! In 3rd Period...

Babies were born yesterday in my 3rd period Teen Living class. It's Baby Day!!
Dr. Bench came in to deliver the babies and he did a great job! What a man!! He delivered 43 babies in about 20 minutes time!! Thank you Dr. Bench! Some students were really excited about their new little one...

We even had a grandma in class to witness the delivery of her grand baby! Thanks for coming Grandma!!
There were a couple of students who were blessed with twins... what great news!!
Students had the rest of the hour to dress their baby. Here are some of the little, new ones... Good luck guys! I hope you enjoy the next 6 days!!


Cookies!!!

The FACS classes had their second lab--- cookies!! Some cookies turned out great!! And were super yummy! Some cookies struggled a little... What could have happened to the snicker doodles here?What about this snicker doodle? The cookie in the bottom of this picture turned out great!! So did the choc chip cookie in the middle. :)

Duffle Bags


Clothing students have finished their duffle bags! And they look awesome!! Great job guys! Students learned how to put a zipper in on this project. They have some serious skills!!

Thunder Lab

Today in FACS we had our first lab. Thunder Juice (Orange Julius) and Thunder Twists (Pretzels). My room smelled yummy... and it was HOT!! For the first lab, students did great! 2A, kitchen 4 made me a pretzel to eat and it was good!! 3A did an awesome job with clean up!! Overall, a good first lab! Makes me excited for next time when we make cookies!!

Self Defense

Today in Teen Living we had a guest speaker, Mr. Tim Eicher, from Dixie State come talk about self defense. He taught the students about predators and the basic path of a predator. He also had the students practice some basic hits. Here are a couple of pics...

Aprons

The FACS classes have finished their aprons!! Yay! They have done a great job! It was fun to see the different materials and the work students did. Here are a couple of pics...

Ms. Fisher

Ms. Fisher has completed her students teaching. She has taken a long term subbing position for a FACS teacher at Snow Canyon High school. We will miss her, but we wish her the best!!
