Omelet in a Mug

Today in Foods the students made bacon/cheese omelet in a mug!! It was the students' first experience in class with microwave cooking. Overall I think it was a success. Some students thought it turned out a little weird, but they ate it and didn't die. :) We will be working more with microwaves over the next few weeks.

FACS is in the Sewing Lab!!

The FACS students are learning fast!! They are doing awesome with threading the machines, using the sergers and working on their samples!! 

Breakfast Lab

Today in Foods we made breakfast!! Buttermilk Waffles, Crepes, Stuffed French Toast, German Pancakes, and Barnum's Syrup. It was a good day!

Today in FACS we started the interior design unit. Students had a class contest to build a paper house. Here are the winners in each class:

We made salsa in Foods today. It was yummy!! Great job Foods students!!

Life

Today in FACS we played the Game of Life. It was really interesting to see the choices students made in order to "win" the game.  On Friday we will discuss the decision making process and consequences of decision we make.  The students really got into the game!!
