Rice n' Pasta


In Foods we had a rice and pasta lab. Students made 3 different kinds of pasta and 3 different kinds of rice. They then did a tasters table. We talked about the nutritional value of each and what they did in the body.

Do you do a preservation lab? Jams, jellies, jerky and the like? Perhaps discuss expiration dates and their meanings.
