Cookie Lab in FACS

Today in FACS we made cookies. Half of the classes made Snickerdoodles, and the other half made Chocolate Chip Cookies. For the most part, students did a great job. There were a lot of extra cookies, so students took small samples around to some of their favorite teachers. I had a couple of concerned teachers that were dubious about eating them due to the date (April 1st), but the students did a good job. I was hoping the lab would reinforce the correct measuring procedures we talked about last time, but I still saw some students skipping steps.
There is always at least one group that has trouble. I'm not entirely sure what these cookies are missing, but something isn't right. It always makes for good conversation and brainstorming though.
