Goop!

Today in FACS we talked about the importance of measuring accurately. I gave students a recipe with bad directions and un-measurable ingredient amounts. This is what the students turned out. It was a lot of fun to hear and see what they students had to say about this experiment. It was also interesting to see what they used to measure with (their hands) since the recipe didn't say to use measuring cups.

After the lab we went on to talk about proper measuring procedure and utensils. I hope it sinks in sooner or later!

That sounds like fun. Good idea. To tell the truth I don't usually measure correctly anyway. Sometimes it all turns out better then other times... sometimes worse and sometimes I use my hands. :)
